Patrick Mahomes in dynasty: value, format and fit

In a 1QB league he is worth 6,790, 5,555 less than in superflex — the second-quarterback slot is what makes QBs expensive. These are the numbers the dynasty trade calculator starts from; league size, scoring and consolidation logic adjust them for the trade in front of you.

The players closest to him in value are Zay Flowers (WR, 12,420), Ashton Jeanty (RB, 12,450) and Trevor Lawrence (QB, 12,468). Inside that band, position and age decide the trade, not the raw number. A straight swap for Zay Flowers (WR) is +0.6% for the side receiving Zay Flowers (WR). A 2-for-1 that returns Bucky Irving (RB) and 2028 1st (Late) is dead even on value before the consolidation bonus the calculator applies to the side getting Patrick Mahomes.
