How the trade finder decides what to suggest

Needs first.Every roster in the league is scored by position against the league's starting slots. A team with four startable running backs and two wide receivers has an RB surplus and a WR need; a team the other way round is its natural partner. The finder only pairs teams whose needs are mirror images, which is why the suggestions read like trades that could actually happen.

Then value.Candidate packages are priced with the dynasty trade calculator's engine — the same superflex, TE-premium and scoring adjustments, the same consolidation logic for 2-for-1s — and anything outside the fair band is dropped. You never see a suggestion that the calculator would grade as a decline for the other side.

Then your window. With the season simulator connected, a contender is shown trades that raise its playoff odds this year, and a rebuilding roster is shown trades that turn veterans into picks and youth. Same league, opposite suggestions, both fair.

Across every league. If you manage several Sleeper teams, the finder runs on all of them from one screen, so a Tuesday trade session covers your whole portfolio instead of one league at a time.

Both. Dynasty leagues use dynasty values including rookie picks; redraft leagues use the seasonal value set built on this year's projections, so the suggestions match how your league actually values players.
